Rumor: Uncharted in development for the PSP2

Apparently a report from Game Informer has blown the lid off a handheld version of Uncharted, which said that it's indeed in works and is set for 2011 holidays release on the very powerful rumored "PSP2".

US gaming magazine Game Informer stated that Uncharted will be a spin-off of the original debuted title on the PlayStation 3, of course if rumors are to be true - which we may suggest you to take this report with a grain of salt as of now.

"The developers we talked to described the PSP2 as a very powerful machine," says the mag, adding: "We've even heard that a new Uncharted spin-off - which could even stand in for a full-on Uncharted 3 - is in the works."

Magazine has stated that Uncharted would probably showcase the true power of the forthcoming  handheld from Sony and its capability in handling quite  intense graphics, knowing that rumors are suggesting how far PSP2's hardware is advanced and its alleged next-gen near quality graphics - it seems Sony are willing to crush Nintendo's yet to be released 3D handheld the 3DS.
